We are scrap metal merchants based in North Wales and cover the surrounding areas of Chester, Wrexham, Deeside, Tarporley and The Wirral. First established in 1953, we have since grown as a family owned business with a reputation for a fair deal.

Dobbins Chester recycles both ferrous and non-ferrous metals including iron, stainless steel, copper, lead and brass. By recycling these metals, we help to contribute towards a cleaner environment for everyone and help preserve the earth's resources for future generations.

Have a lot of metal to clear?

Not a problem! We can provide a skip for you to fill up and collect it at a time to suit you.

Please remember to bring your ID in accordance with current legislation. Acceptable ID is:
  • Driving Licence
  • Passport - However passport must be with a utility bill no more than 3 months old. 
Unfortunately we are unable to accept the following:
  • Cylinders
  • Drinks Cans
  • Fridge Freezers
  • Gas Bottles
  • Tyres
  • White Goods
